We met in Camden on Saturday, July 1. Dave flew from Pensacola to Boston to meet Jess arriving from Birmingham.
After a 3 1/2 hour delay in the departure of our commuter flight to
Rockland, we arrived in Camden around 5:30 pm. Bob and Dick
drove up from the Philadelphia area and were already in Camden with most
of their gear on the float next to the boat when Jess and I arrived. Spent
the evening stowing gear, having dinner at the Village Restaurant, and
sampling our supply of beverages.
- During
WEEK
1, we sailed in the Penobscot Bay and Mt. Desert
Island areas.
Bob, Dave, Dick,
and Jess were aboard.

WEEK
2 was spent
exploring the region between Camden and the Sheepscot River before
returning to the White Islands at the end of the week. Dave,
Dick, and Jess were aboard.
